Maine
Leading the data and technology efforts for the Maine Republican Party, UPT employed strategies and techniques that not only shocked the Maine Democratic Party, but also caught the DGA and other outside organizations completely off guard.
The results include securing the highest voter turnout of any state in the country, re-electing Governor Paul LePage with the highest vote total of any candidate for Governor in Maine’s history, re-electing Senator Susan Collins in a 30 point landslide, electing Bruce Poliquin to Congress and flipping ME-2 to a Republican for the first time in 20 years, securing a Republican majority in the Maine State Senate by going from 15 to 21 Republican Senators and having the largest Republican State Senate majority since 1977, and electing 43 new Republican State House of Representatives.
UPT’s work for the Maine Republican Party, particularly that of the Get Out the Vote operation, was recognized by consultants across the country as the Best GOTV Program in the nation and secured a prestigious Pollie Award for the firm as such.

South Carolina
UPT Strategies served as the general consultant and media vendor for Supervisor-Elect Bill Peagler in Berkeley County, South Carolina. The Peagler victory over the two-term incumbent County Supervisor is particularly notable, since a sitting Member of Congress could not accomplish that with nearly $1 million four years prior.
Despite multiple newspaper articles stating Republican State Representative Samuel Rivers was one of the top five targets of South Carolina Democrats and significant Democrat resources being spent to attack Rep. Rivers - UPT Strategies secured over 56% of the vote for Representative Rivers, in a district Mitt Romney only won with 52% of the vote, to retain the seat for the only African-American Republican in the South Carolina Legislature.
UPT Strategies’ work also ensured re-election victories in South Carolina for State Representative Chris Murphy, after an extremely contentious primary campaign and an aggressive Democrat general election opponent, and for Dorchester County Councilmen Jay Byars and David Chinnis. The firm also helped elect first-time candidate Joshua Stokes to the James Island Town Council by besting multiple opponents in a crowded race.

In Red Bank, NJ - UPT Strategies again elected a Republican to Town Council with first-time candidate Linda Schwabenbauer. After two strong election cycles in Red Bank, UPT’s work positioned Republicans to win a majority on Council in 2015 for the first time in almost three decades.
NATIONWIDE
UPT Strategies helped ensure Republican control of the United States Senate, by assisting efforts of a national organization focused on the highly-targeted races in North Carolina, Arkansas, Iowa and Colorado.
